Before Picture Day

After you schedule your Picture Day, a dedicated account specialist will work with you to get everything going, so there’s absolutely no stress. About a month before Picture Day you’ll receive a materials packet at your center to help you promote the event in many easy ways:

1. Hang the posters in high-traffic areas right away.
2. Three weeks before Picture Day you’ll need to send class rosters in. This really helps Picture Day go smoothly and keep things organized.
3. One week before Picture Day send the provided flyers home with parents to remind them of the event.
4. On the eve of Picture Day, apply the supplied stickers to students’ clothing or backpacks that say, “Picture Day is Tomorrow.”

On Picture Day

The big day is here and families are excited for the Picture Day tradition they remember from their youth to be passed down to their children. Picture Day is full of anticipation and excitement, but there’s no need to panic about potential chaos. Lifetouch professional photographers will show up right on time to set everything up and help facilitate the process. Classes will visit one by one to get pictures taken, then right onsite, the photographer will print proofs so Mom and Dad can see the image results immediately.

After Picture Day

Families have a week to review the proof, order online or return their order form to the center. Teachers collect the forms and give them to you, the director, at the end of the week so you can mail them in the provided prepaid return envelope to Lifetouch. Families can choose to have orders shipped to them at a cost, but most prefer to get them sent for free to the center for pickup. About three weeks after the order deadline, you’ll receive these orders and can distribute them to families.
