Planning for Picture Day
Q: When is my child's picture day?
A: Contact your child's preschool director or call 1-800-653-3373.
Q: Can I have my portrait taken with my child?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I have siblings photographed together and separately?
A: Yes, we photograph siblings. Please indicate this request on the parent notice that will be sent home a few days before picture day. Also inform your child's teacher or director.
On Picture Day
Q: Can you photograph infants?
A: Yes, our photographers are specially trained and equipped to photograph infants.
Q: How many backgrounds / poses are offered?
A: We offer multiple backgrounds and poses with or without group each season. To view examples of

After Picture Day
Q: When will my child's portraits be delivered?
A: Approximately 3 weeks after portraits are taken.
Q: I received several portrait packages from the center. Is there a discount for purchasing multiple complete packages?
A: Yes. If your family has received more than one portrait package from the same picture day at your center, you may purchase the first complete package at full price and any additional complete packages are 50% off. This discount does not apply to reorders, or partial packages.
Q: When do I need to pay for portraits?
A: With most of our portrait programs, payment for your portrait package selection is requested within seven days of receipt of the portraits. Check with your child's preschool director for more information.
Q: How do I pay for the portraits?
A: You may use your credit card to
pay for your portrait package selection online. If you prefer to pay by check or money order, place your payment in the payment envelope and return to your director. Checks/money orders should be made payable to Lifetouch.
Q: What happens to the portraits I don't purchase?
A: Lifetouch Preschool Portraits has a national recycling initiative for all returned portraits. These portraits are shredded and then recycled into other paper-based products or used as fuel to create energy.
Q: How can I order more portraits and/or products?
A: A gift guide and PhotoGifts Online Access Strip has been included in your child's portrait package. To order online at photogifts.lifetouch.com enter the codes found on your Access Strip. To order more prints by phone or mail, call 1-800-653-3373.
Q: What is the deadline for reorders?
A: Images are available to reorder for six months after picture day.
Q: Can I get a copyright release on my child's photograph?
A: Lifetouch has a copyright designed to protect images it takes, similar to the policies used by moviemakers, video producers and writers. Customers may purchase a Portrait CD which grants them the use of their images for legal, noncommercial purposes.
